Illness Mindset Inventory (IMI)

This brief measure was developed to assess the extent to which an individual views chronic illness as a catastrophe, as manageable, or as an opportunity for growth.

Adequacy of Activity Mindset Measure (AAMM)

The Adequacy of Activity Mindset Measure (AAMM) is a scale developed by Zahrt & Crum (2020) to assess mindsets about the adequacy and benefits of ones’ physical activity as it relates to health.

Stress Mindset Measure (Adult)

This eight-item measure was developed by Crum, Salovey and Achor (2013) to address the extent to which an individual adopts a mindset that the effects of stress are enhancing or debilitating.

Process Mindset Measure

The PMM captures beliefs about difficulty/ease, un/pleasurable, relaxing/stressful, in/convenient, boring/fun, lonely/social, and indulgent/depriving nature of the process of maintaining good health.

Stress Mindset Measure (Youth Version)

A few items from the original Stress Mindset Measure (Crum, Salovey, & Achor, 2013) have been adapted for use in a youth population.
